Dude Dad and Disney artist Eda Kaban have built a funny and tender tale of a DIY dad’s over-the-top attempts to connect with his kids through wacky inventions. Eager for his three kids to have the best day ever, Dad throws himself into build after build—from a leaf-blower-powered rocket ship to an ice cream truck with sherbet shooters—each more elaborate than the last. But one after another, the kids (including the unusually well-spoken baby) decline to play with Dad’s creations. Feeling dejected, Dad starts to put away his tools, but then his kids are finally able to tell him what they really want . . . to play with him! Mis-Shipments

Cute Story of Dad

I love how this book involves the whole family in Dad’s building projects. This reminds me of my husband with our kids. He was always doing some project and the kids were there either watching or learning alongside him.

My son is a Dude Dad in training

Loved it! Last winter my son built a snow luge and sled hill for his toddlers. They stayed out all day playing and sledding!

Fun books for kids!

I really recommend this book for kids! It is very unique that the dad is trying to make the kids happy by building things. I really like how they end up making a roller coaster together. I also like that the baby says such grown up words. That made me laugh a lot! -JM, age 8

Fun family story

Bought this as a Christmas present for my son, he's a huge fan. He loves it! He's already asked for it multiple times as a bedtime story. He laughs every time! I think the baby translations are his favorite part.
