Our Mission
Making the World a Smaller Place Through Connection
Dude Dad started in 2015 as a way to fully embrace the chaos of parenthood and family life, film it, and share it with whoever wanted to tune in. We believe laughter can make a difficult season feel a little less lonely! The channel became an avenue for parents everywhere to connect their own experiences in parenthood and laugh at themselves a little (or maybe a lot!). Over the past decade, the Dude Dad Enterprise has garnered over 12 million followers across all social media platforms with over 8 BILLION VIEWS.
While we believe that laughter has a place in even the hardest seasons of family life, we are also aware than there are some hardships that a funny video can’t touch. This is where we want to use our resources to do what we can to give back to organizations caring for families with extra needs and children who may not have families of their own.

Larimer County Perinatal Well-Being Coalition
We believe in providing new mom’s with the unconditional support they need throughout pregnancy and postpartum. The Perinatal period can feel extremely overwhelming with all the new changes, lack of sleep, and the mental exhaustion that comes with taking full responsibility for keeping a tiny human alive. That’s why we found out who in town is doing the work around providing support and education for both providers and community members. We attend quarterly Coalition meetings and have participated in the planning committee for the Coalition’s Mind Body and Baby annual Summit for the last 2 years.
Strong Core Mama
When Heidi was pregnant with her 4th baby, she knew she needed some extra support around the physical strain of growing a baby. She got connected to Anna of Strong Core Mama for regular pelvic floor therapy and started making stories about what she was learning and doing different. Hundreds of other moms replied to these stories asking for more information and what they could be doing for their own bodies, and a partnership between Heidi and Anna formed to host Strong Core Mama workshops where women can get the education they need as well as a place to start on their own journey of pelvic floor health before, during pregnancy and after birth. They have been hosting these SOLD OUT workshops twice per year since 2023!
NOCO Women in Business
Heidi started attending these events and meetings in 2023 to learn of the amazing women-owned businesses in town. In 2024, she spoke at their Love for Community Gala about how to recognize the health of a community and how to break through barriers that hinder us from truly connecting to each other.
Paying it Forward: Charities We Support
REALITIES FOR CHILDREN
We are proud to support Realities for Children, a non-profit providing emergency and ongoing support for children in Northern Colorado who have been abused, neglected, or are at-risk. Through critical services, community outreach and direct assistance, they offer hope where it’s needed most.
The Dude Dad team has been engaged with their work both financially and practically since 2020 by sponsoring tables at their annual galas, hosting a local lunch and learn for community members about their new Healing Sanctuary, emceeing twice for their Night Lights Fundraiser event, and attending/ supporting the annual Ride for Realities event.

Each year, we organize a mini golf fundraiser with all proceeds donated directly to Respite Care. Respite Care is an organization that provides short-term, high-quality care for children with developmental disabilities while offering their families essential time to res and recharge. Their work not only brings joy and connection to the children they serve, but also gives parents and caregivers a much-needed break—something that’s often hard to come by.
Since 2022, the team has supported the Respite Ball via silent auction donations, sponsoring tables and attending the event. We’ve also toured the site to see their space, meet the dedicated staff and some of their care recipients, and gain a deeper understanding of the day-to-day impact they’re making in the lives of so many families.

- Freedom Service Dogs transform lives by partnering people with custom-trained assistance dogs.
- The Avery Center performs survivor-centered research and provides survivor-led direct services. Because lived experience must inform change.
- Convenant House California is a non-profit youth shelter that provides sanctuary and support for youth experiencing homelessness, ages 18-24.
- Alexandria House is a house of hospitality and hope. Their goal is to provide safe and supportive housing for women and children experiencing homelessness and trauma.

Every year, UCHealth hosts Healthy Swings, a home run derby that teams up with pro football players to hit it big for charity. The 2025 event benefited Next Chapter, supporting veterans and their families.

SERVE 6.8
Serve 6.8 is a nonprofit that mobilizes, resources, and connects local partners to care for people across Northern Colorado. Through a network of over 50 partners, Serve 6.8 meets physical needs—such as food, clothing, hygiene items, and financial support.
In 2024, when the Loveland area was impacted by the Alexander Mountain Fire, Serve 6.8 stepped in immediately to provide relief to those affected. In response, we launched our Colorado Strong shirt campaign, with 100% of the proceeds going directly toward fire recovery efforts. The funds helped supply essential items and support to families facing unexpected loss. Being part of this effort allowed us to stand alongside our community and Serve 6.8 in a tangible, meaningful way—offering not just help, but hope.
